Christ-centred, Word-based, Spirit-led Learning & Ministry Development

About Toowoomba Leadership College

We have a heart for the city of Toowoomba, to see leaders equipped to minister the Gospel in their unique calling and vocation. At Toowoomba Leadership College, we prepare students from various churches across Toowoomba for ministry in our region and beyond.

Previously, prospective Bible College students from Toowoomba would consider travel to Brisbane or “online only” study. Toowoomba Leadership College is hosted by Base Family Church and partnering with Alphacrucis University College (AC) combining AC’s world class accredited content, resources and assessments, along with the College community experience through tutorials, group discussion and chapel run face-to-face right here in Toowoomba.

Applications are now open for Semester 2 (August 2024) for AC’s Diploma of Ministry. This course provides students with a foundation in theology and biblical studies, shaping a Christian worldview in whatever context you are called to. In addition, you will find opportunities to gain the practical expertise required for ministry, and make a positive contribution to our community.

Since its inception as the national training university college of the Australian Christian Churches in 1948, Alphacrucis (AC) has had a rich history of ministry training, having taught and trained thousands of Christian leaders in Australia, New Zealand, and throughout the world. Today, AC is at the forefront of equipping leaders for careers of influence in business, chaplaincy, counselling, entrepreneurship, teaching, ministry, music and theology.

Partnering with one of Australia’s leading theological educators means key input from a range of experienced Pastors and leaders including Wayne Alcorn, Mark Varughese, Darlene Zschech, Matt Heins, Brad Bonhomme, Steve Penny, John Hunt, Cameron and Renee Bennett, Ken Lee and Andy Kirk.

Alphacrucis University College is the national training university college of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) and as such aligns itself with the Doctrinal Basis of the ACC.
